The Sacrament of Confirmation

We are excited to welcome children and their families back to St. Paul.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will offer families, whose children have prepared to receive this sacrament, one of two options. Please read through this page carefully. Changes cannot be made once mass times are reserved.

OPTION 1 : Saturday Mass with Class

Special bilingual masses have been scheduled for First Communion for St. Ann’s School and Religious Education students to receive the sacrament with their classes. If this option is chosen, please register using the form below. CHANGES CANNOT BE MADE ONCE REGISTERED.

St. Paul’s Religious Education: September 12th @ 1 pm

St. Ann’s School: September 12th @ 3 pm

  • A fee of $14 per child will be required to cover the cost of sanitizing church before and after mass
  • Limit of guests to 5 per child to accommodate the capacity restrictions of the City of Chicago
  • Teachers and Principal or Director of Religious Education will be there
  • Children will receive their Confirmation with their classmates

Mass with Congregation

Families can choose to celebrate their child’s Confirmation during a regularly scheduled mass during the month of August and September. You can choose your date and time using the button below. Changes cannot be made once your mass is chosen.

English @ 10 am

Spanish @ 12 pm

St. Paul’s Religious Education: September 12th @ 1 pm

St. Ann’s School: September 12th @ 3 pm

  • No fee because the regularly scheduled mass already has a team of volunteers who are trained in sanitizing the church
  • No limit per family (but space is limited to availability in each mass).
  • Children will receive their First Communion with any other children whose families chose the same mass. Some may be from Religious Education, some may be from St. Ann’s
